I just got back from taking Renee to the pet store :-) all the boys were gone and she was bored so she said "let's go to the pet store!" She loves me having my license more then I do :-) lol. We fell in love with an adorable boxer puppy!

Well I didn't get the job at FCB...I think I'll keep my job at Jo-Ann's for a little while longer. Although it's going to be a bit harder. The guy I work with all the time is leaving (for college) and I've been working with him for 2 years. We're the only ones really that work the front end of the store. So now I'm training a couple new people. But It's going to take some getting use to...They wanted to give me the supervisor position but I can't work all the hours they want me to work.
I'm working at my church too and Saturday I'm training for an online tutoring program that pays really well...I work from home so that will be nice.

My youth group is getting ready for our big summer bash :-) fun fun.

I went to student orientation yesterday, got to know the school really well...I'm so excited! :-) my class starts Tuesday.

I saw my buddy Asher a couple days ago! He lives a couple hours away so I don't see him much but he has his license, lol so he drove here.

My mom's birthday was on the 13th. twice a year we have a girls birthday party with my aunts and grandma. Julie, my mom and Grandma have spring/summer birthdays so we celebrate those together Sue and I have winter birthdays (we share the same day actually, lol Dec 19th) we make yummy foods and talk :-) I made chocolate covered strawberries! yummy!

What else have I done...hmm...I spent the day with my good friend Lauren, she's in TX now for school :-( It was hard saying goodbye to her. We saw batman again :-)

Well so much for a summer blog. My summer has been insane. And a lot of big changes coming up this school year.

I am in the process of trying to get a new job. I have an interview tomorrow at the Christian bookstore. My old youth leader worked there and she is leaving. She put in a good word for me :-) So I really hope I get the job! It pays way better the Jo-Ann's. So we'll see! I also was offered a job at my church doing office work for our rather large youth group.

I was asked to teach Confirmation classes at my church. I'm a little nervous about that...but we'll see, I might really like teaching :-)

And I'm taking a biology class two days a week at Front Range community college. I'm going to student orientation this month and I took my placement test yesterday. I did surprisingly well on the math section! Not so well on the reading, idk why, I've always been good at reading comprehension, I'll probably take that section over.

I saw batman! Amazing! Loved loved loved it. Heath Ledger's acting job as the Joker was incredible.

Oh yeah....

I GOT MY LICENSE!!!!! WOO HOO! I am so happy! I can drive places now :-) My dad is getting a new truck and selling his old one and after all that he's gonna get a "family" car that will be mine for the time being...I get to pay for gas and insurance, lol. But yeah I've been driving Nick and I to lots of youth group events.

So I think that's all the big things. :-) life will be getting crazy pretty soon!

I just got back from my first baseball game! Rockies vs. Giants. It was a lot of fun! Although the Rockies lost :-( 10-7, but we had a good time! We'll be going to another game soon!

I've been super busy with the start of my summer. The biggest thing was graduation. two other homeschool seniors and our parents put it together. It was really nice...there was a mass and ceremony/reception. I had tons of friends and family come, my grandparents flew in from AZ and stayed with us which was nice :-)
My plan now is to take a year off, get my portfolio ready. I'm looking at either Benedictine in Kansas (good art program) or UNC (if I decide not to major in art)

Youth group is keeping me busy. I belong to a pretty active big group. We're raising money for the Stubenville of the Rockies retreat which is next weekend. My brother Nick and I had to sell chocolate, lol. We also have lots of summer activites.

Work...thats always fun. Still working at Jo-Ann's.

I went to a prom with my friends Lauren and Andrew last weekend! That was fun :) It was different from most proms, they played GOOD music lol. Like swing and techno :D
I have a couple pictures from that but they're not on the computer yet so next time!

My pen-pal Eliza (the one who I went to stay with in VA) came to CO last month! It was nice to see her :-) Her mom and 3 sisters took a month long car trip across the US and they stopped here! We took them to the Celestial Seasoning factory.

Oh! How could I forget! The biggest thing that started my summer was a second trip to D.C.! More pictures I'll have to upload! lol. My mom and I went for 5 days. It was soo much fun! We took the Metro everywhere and it was awesome. I wish we had something like that here. It takes you everywhere and it's so cheap. The only bad thing was it rained all 5 days we were there and our luggage was delayed so we had go to our hotel with nothing and we waiting almost the whole next day for it to arrive to our hotel. lol but it didn't bother us, everyone uses umbrella's there, the rain does not stop tourists in D.C. We stayed in a nice hotel right around the corner from the Iwo Jima Statue. Here are some highlight pictures ;)

This is the staute that was by our hotel. I loooved it there. I'd have to say this was my favorite place. I love WWII history. It was a very nice object to take pictures of, I have tons of them from different angles, these were my favorites.

The National Basilica...mom and I went to mass here. It was my 2nd time and my mom's 2nd time (since she was a little girl) and we loooved it there, could've stayed all day.

A lot of them are the same places I went to last year: the Lincoln memorial, national gallery of art (I could spent forever there) WWII memorial, National portrait gallery. That place was awesome! lol I must share my picture of Jack and I:

So that sums up the beggining of my summer! lol One other highlight! I found a pair of pink low-top converse at a garage sale for $2! Almost new, lol.

Hello everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I'm sorry about not updating :s I have been super busy.
-Art classes every Thursday from 8 am to 1pm
-Youth group on Tuesday nights
-WORK! WOO HOO! like almost every day
-SAT prep every day

And My 18th Birthday, Christmas and New Year. I had a wonderful Birthday :-) My parents got me an MP3 player!
And now it's Lent/Easter! I gave up music and sweets...so no MP3 player for a while :s

Hello!
How is everyone? I have been really busy :s Yesterday my mom and went shopping all day. We went to Morrison and like everywhere else, lol. I got some nice things :)
Then after our day was done mom dropped me off at my friends 16th birthday party. It was fun it was a murder mystery party. It was really fun except I'm terrible with logic and figuring things out so I was a bit 'slower' then everyone else, lol. and I was the detective! lol. It was a slumber party and of course we went to sleep late.
So I got home today and I'm tired. I have school and work tomorrow, yay! That's about it really...I can't believe Thanksgiving is in like a week! ahh!! It's my favorite holiday :)

Well thats about it. I hope to post before Thanksgiving but if I don't have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hello!

How is everyone enjoying the colder weather? It's been cold here, but I was in AZ for a week and it was pretty warm the whole time.
I had a good time in AZ. I stayed with my grandparents. We went to Flagstaff Thursday and stayed in a really nice condo! This was my room and bathroom:

it also had a nice TV/DVD :p

Then Friday we went to Sedona...a really nice place to shop. Sedona also has beautiful rock formations.

What else? did everyone have a good Halloween? First I went to the Rockies Rally downtown. I'm sure everyone knows Boston swept us in the world series. Well Denver is still proud of our team because we really did a good job this season and we're NLChampions! So We went to the Rally! Here are a couple pictures:

Okay then I went to see that movie 'Bella' w/ my youth group. Good movie by the way! If you go see it take Kleenex. And then my youth group had a party. The rest of my family went to my grandparents and went trick-or-treating. Renee was an adorable clown:

And Friday we went to the cemetary for All Souls Day. I love going there. I don't know why, it's just interesting to read all the gravestones and wonder about those people...to see when they were born...The children's cemetary is really sad to be in :( I like to spend time there as well.

What else? Next weekend mom and I are going to shop ALL day, lol. I am in dire need of Winter clothes. We're also going to do some Christmas shopping in Morrison (Mountain town) After that I'm going to a slumber party. So I am keeping busy! Work is going okay...are holiday hours start this week so we close really late :( it stinks, I probably won't get home until 10:45-11:00pm.

Hello!
Wow! I have been so busy! I stopped tennis (because of my hands) And now I'm doing art lessons...Right now we're doing charcoal and later when the weather gets colder we'll start oil painting. Speaking of weather today we had our 1st snowfall!
This week I did house/baby/dog sitting for my aunt. She just had knee surgery. So I was there for 3 days. And I also worked! But after Monday I'll have 10 days off!
Wednesday I'm leaving for AZ for 5 days to stay with my grandma. My cousin just moved out there so I'll visit him also.
I have been really busy with school too of course. I just got my study book for the SAT.

The Colorado Rockies are going to the world series!!!! It's so exciting. They're playing the whole week I'm in AZ so hopefully I'll get to watch some of it :)

I'll have to post pictures when I get back from AZ!

ahh! I can't keep up anymore!
So much is happening this school year! I had to quit tennis because of my hands. I have Carpal tunnel syndrome and it was becoming too painful to play. I was pretty sad about it for a while. I'm doing okay now. I figured out what I want to do after school! I'm going to apply to Benedictine College in Kansas! They have a great art program and it suppose to be a good college for kids that were homeschooled. I'm so excited!

Hello!
How is everyone?
I've been having trouble keeping up with my blog :s I have been soooo busy! This summer has gone by too quick. It's now starting to get colder outside (I love the fall weather here.) So today my siblings and I are going to stay indoors and watch movies all day (rare occasion) while my mom finishes up our lesson plans for the upcoming school year.
And then to top things off I get to go to work tonight! yay! (not)

Yesterday was a busy day, lol. I went to mass by myself (because my family decided to go without me on Sat night while I was at work!) And went to to Tony's to watch the Bronco game. Man was that a crazy game! We won with 1 second left and 1 point.
And then I came home and watched the Men's finals in the US Open. And then I went to the park to play tennis with my brother. I had a full week of tennis practice and it really paid off. I'm doing much better! I missed a tournament though because I was working :(

Busy Summer!

Wow...it's been a while since I posted :s I have been really busy...With work.
I started Tennis lessons! I have a really nice coach and we do tennis lessons twice a week. Although it's really bothering my hands :s I went to the doctors the other day and he said I have Carpal Tunnel in both my hands. So I'm going to find a light racket and start wrapping my wrists. I might be going to my first tournament in Colo. Springs in Oct.
I'm also going to AZ in Oct! To visit my grandma. She just had surgery on her knee but she's doing better.
I know there is more going on but I can't think right now...lol.
I've been watching all the Audrey Hepburn movies for the end of summer :p So far my favorite is 'Roman Holiday' I also watched 'Nun's story' 'Sabrina' 'Two for the Road' and 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'

I spent last Sunday with my old buddy Kayliegh! We had a lot of fun, we went and saw 'Becoming Jane' which wasn't the greatest movie although I liked James McAvoy (sp?) ;) Kayliegh did too. lol.

That's it! I'm on my way to Wally mart. I'm gonna drive :s

Time to update!

I have been super busy. I've been working of course. And My weekends have been full. I went to the Steubenville of the Rockies retreat. It was good! A really awesome experience. It's different thought when you've already gone 4 times...lol. I went with a pretty big group of about 30 people. I had some of my good friends with me and I made some new friends.

I'm going out of town in a couple weeks just for the weekend my family and my aunt and cousin are going to South park (yes where the tv show South park is made...lol) Where they have a reeeeaaaly cool museum. It's pretty much an old Western town with all the shops and homes with everything still in it! And that weekend they're having a living history thing. Should be fun!

I've also been really busy doing things with friends :) I went ice skating the other night...

Oh! I had my county shoot-off. I did well but not well enough. I placed 4th and I lost 3rd place by 4 points! Arg! I shot a 231, 1st place shot a 310 I think...
I made it on the state team but I'm not going to go. Too far...

I entered some of my drawings in the county fair. I'll find out tomorrow what I won :)

Hello! Time to update :s not to much going on really....I'm going to Stuebenville of the Rockies on Friday and I'll come home Sunday. Monday I went to see Transformers again. AWESOME movie!

Hello Everyone!
How was your 4th of July? Mine was great! Better then last year :s (It rained and we all got the flu...) We went to my grandma's and then the park to watch fireworks. And that's about it :) We ate lots of food but it was weird food, we didn't BBQ, we didn't eat watermelon or have root beer floats like most years. We had sandwiches and jell-o, and other stuff w/ cake...So yeah, it was still good though!

Last night our VCR broke, lol. So we thought we'd run up to wal-mart and see if they carry those DVD/VCR's (because that's all you can get now) But then we remembered my brother Tony was getting rid of his VCR so guess what? Free VCR! They're hard to find! I mean you can find them at thrift stores but you don't know if they work or not!

Well that's about it...I have to go to work today and this weekend the boys are leaving for a camping trip! Woo hoo!

Hello! Guess what! this is my 100th post! WOO HOO!

Today I went to shooting practice and shot a 275!!! A big improvement for me! Our county shoot off is the 24th so it's coming up soon!

Tomorrow I am going to see 'Transformers'! I'm so exited! And then I'll be going to my grandma's for food and fireworks! The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays, I don't why but it is...

Hello!
I had a very busy weekend! Christine came over Friday night and on Sat we went shopping everywhere! lol. I got a really cute outfit at Anchor Blue (love that store) And some of that mint lip gloss at Bath and Body and a shirt at Rainbow and a sparkly red headband at Claire's (I'm going to wear it on the 4th, I can't be live it's almost here! Wensday!)
Then we went to see 'Evan Almighty' surprisingly it was really good! I loved it! Better then Bruce Almighty I think, although I think Jim Carrey was the better actor.
Then we went to mass and the Stubenville dinner. I met some nice kids, I'm rooming with Christine and two other girls I don't know.
Then I went to Katieri's and we watched Pearl Harbor, GOOD movie!!!! I though it was pretty sad, it made me cry :(

And today I'm going to weed the garden and go to work! Fun!

I am so worn out! Man...I rode my bike like 3 miles (I think, it took 45 minutes to get there) to Lauren's house and we played Tennis and basketball with her brothers and then I bike back. I'm so tired because it was up and down a lot of hills. My legs are sore >.< Now I have to walk to work (and it's like 100 degrees out) and I get off at 10:00pm. Then tomorrow my friend Christine and I are going to do things all day, probably go shopping. And then I'm going to Katieri's tomorrow night and spend the night. Busy busy!

Crazy week!

Hello!

this week has been really crazy...Sunday most of us got sick including me. We all had some weird virus but it only lasted 2 days. I had to call in sick from work and my dad finally went back to work after like 3 days. He was the worst. My mom called the doctor and told her he should go to the ER, so they were there all night. He had a pretty bad virus, they gave him shots I think. I think it was dehydration...that's what was wrong with me at least. I felt dizzy and nauseous for two days. We've been reading and watching movies, the house was pretty quiet.

So we're all doing better now, which means the house is loud and in it's normal state again. :s

Tina had quite an adventure last week, she fell off her bike and scraped her self up pretty bad, she had to go to the hospital :s She is doing better now but the poor thing was really hurt. She had a concussion, a black eye, a swollen lip and nose...and a messed up face :( It will heal, I bought her some stuff to keep her busy :)
Jeez, that girl! She's been through a lot, a fractured skull when she was 2, and broken leg when she was 4. She's a tough one though.

What else, oh there was a fatal accident around the corner from my house, a little 8 year old boy died. He and his 10 year old brother were in a go-kart and a car hit them. To make matters worse it was a hit and run, they still haven't found the person who hit them. Pretty sad...

That's it I think, lol. A pretty busy week! Oh, my mom gave Celeste my birthday present for her (I drew a picture of John Paul the Great) She reeeaaaly liked it.

We have dentist appointments today, ugh I don't like going to the dentist, I ALWAYS no matter what I do end up with a cavity if not more. Idk why but I take really really good care of my teeth, the dentist said I'm just really cavity prone. He told me I shouldn't drink juices or soda but I can't help that! Not with my addiction to Gatorade and Sobe! no way! lol.

Hello!
I've been so busy :s I've worked almost every day this week, I work tonight, and Friday and Sat night. Yesterday I worked and I had a really bad day, hopefully today will be better.
I've been drawing a lot, I just finished a birthday present for someone. And my aunts me to make my portfolio bigger so I can start displaying it places. Other then work and drawing thats really about it, lol.

Camp is going on right now, this is my first year (since I was 10) missing it. But I can't keep going forever, lol, I'm getting to old. and another thing it's gotten to expensive. It was the same price flying to VA and AZ together.
Speaking of AZ I'm going out there in August to stay with my grandma for a few days and hopefully visit some friends that live out there.

Hello!
I had a pretty busy weekend :s Friday, I went to see Pirates again with my friend Lauren, it's waaaay better the 2nd time, lol, I understood it a lot better. So see it two times okay? :) and then we went to Latin Mass and I came home and watched an old Spencer Tracy movie called 'Judgment and Nuremberg' I was good only if you like WWII and court trials (the whole movie was pretty much in a court room) Nick fell asleep but I liked it...

And Saturday we went to a family friend's house and they have horses! So I got to ride. We all rode (except mom and Renee) my dad really seemed to enjoy himself! lol. He rode twice. Damien did too, Damien and Dad are the natural born horse riders. Even though I took lessons for 4 years, they over rule me. I was actually really scared to get on :s After my horse accident I don't like riding anymore :(

Hello!
Sorry it's been awhile! The past week I've worked a lot, and I have this whole week off so I have some extra time on my hands :) Well the Month of May was sooo busy for me! Being in VA, and then a family (my mom's 'Internet' friend and her family) stayed with us for 3 days and they took me to see a Broadway play called 'Wicked' (a prequel to the Wizard of Oz) Which I lOVED! And work of course. And my Grandma and Grandpa (from AZ) came over the other day and we planned for me to come out to AZ in late August, so I have yet another trip to take this year! :)

We recently went on a tour of Celestial Seasonings (tea), its the only factory in the United States; its in Boulder, CO. So we had lots of tea that day :) And they have the cutest gift shop. While on the tour the tour guide asked if anyone knew what thier most popular tea was and I answered "sleepy time!" and I was right! woo hoo! lol, anyways, here is a picture of a dress made out of the Celestial Seasoning tea wrappers. and there are shoes and a handbag also! Isn't it pretty? lol! So if you are ever touring Colorado I would suggest taking the tour!

We went the the Natural history museum today, It was my 100,000th time being there *sigh* but it was still fun, lol.

and lets see, I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3!!! LOVED it! I still love the 1st one best but they're all good! I think they should make a 4th one, and then after that it will die down...I'm going to see it again on Friday, lol.

Hello everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been really busy. I had a really good trip! It was so much fun! I stayed with Eliza, in her really small town, lol. (The type of town where everyone knows eachother) It was a really nice town. It was sooo nice up there, it was pretty warm all week. Lets see, we went to VA beach, It was my first time seeing the beach, I loved it! The water was pretty cold so we only got our feet wet. Lets see we went to Washington D.C. and I loved it there too. We went to the National Gallery of art which I could have spent all day at...we saw all of the memorials/monuments, the air and space museum, and the Archives. I went to a civil war museum and Fisher's hill (a civil war battlefield.) I also saw lots of roadkill! Virgina has tons of it for some reason.

Eliza and I had fun, right Eliza? ;) Hopefully she can come out to Denver next summer! And I plan to go back there next summer also! It's very interesting meeting a pen-pal :) I think we felt like we knew eachother already, so we didn't have much to say when I first got there, lol. We have been pen-pals for 8 years...

I saw Spider-man 3 while I was there! I liked it but not as mu ch as the first 2. I didn't like Tobey McGuire's acting and I didn't like one scene. (For those that saw it, the jazz club thing...)
The graphics were cool and I liked sandman.

I've also been busy with work...I am working almost everyday (except Sunday, and Tuesdays) but only for 4 hours (a day) So not too bad...

I also really need to catch up on school so I can finish for the summer! I am pretty behind...

Hello Everyone!
Eliza told me to update my blog :p
I have been getting ready for my big trip to VA. For those who didn't know or forgot, I am going to Virgina for 10 days to stay with my good friend Eliza. So I leave tomorrow morning! I have to wake up at 5:30ish and get to the airport at 6:30am
So I'm going to tell my family good bye tonight and my mom will take me. I am going to miss them, just kidding. lol. No I probably will, Renee especially. I've never been away that long or that far away! But I know I'm going to have fun :) We have tons planned! I will write all about it when I get back and take tons of pictures. I will be in D.C., VA beach, lots of memorials/museums/sites.

Omg I am overly excited for Spider-man 3!!!! Ahh I can't wait. Eliza and I are going to go see it.

I better go! I have to finish packing and getting things ready. I also have shooting practice tonight.

Time a for an update I suppose!
It has been raining here for two days. I LOVE rain!!! :)
I just got back from the homeschool history fair...Some nice projects. We didn't submit anything though, we just didn't find the time.

And let's see, I'm getting ready to leave soon. I'll be leaving for VA in exactly 1 week from today. I'm very excited.
I met some of my online friends the other day! lol...Here is a picture:

Aisa was visiting from out of state so we got together and met. We're all friends from a Catholic homeschool teen board. We went to Mother Cabrini Shrine and climbed at least 300 steps if not more, lol. It was very wierd meeting at first but we became good friends by the end of the day :)

Hello!
I hope everyone is having a good Easter! I am. I had to work Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Monday! :s Is was nice to get that break in between.
I am on break now so I've been finding things to do around the house, lol. Watching movies, cleaning my room out and later I'll go to the library.
My e-mail is not working right now and its making me frustrated! Argg! Hopefully it'll be back up soon.
So I'll be leaving for VA in 3 weeks! So next week I'm going shopping with my grandma for things I need. Mostly clothes.

did everyone see my snake pictures below? :) I told my mom I could stay at the zoo forever and just take pictures of animals! I'm always the last one behind because I'm either taking a picture or writing on a piece of paper, the name of the species. I could do that in any place really! So when I learn how to drive *coughs* I will be able to go to the zoo! woo hoo!

Hello Everyone,
Time for an update I know.
I went to a discernment retreat at the Little Sister's of the poor, Mullen Home here in Denver. It was a nice weekend. Half of it was in silence. But the other half we got to talk and get to know eachother :) The sisters are so funny :) they were very nice.
We did lots of prayer time...we did the 'Lectio Devina' which is a form of prayer. And Liturgy of the hours, and we heard some talks. I went with my friend Lauren. I was pretty tired when I got home, lol.

I am so happy! I got a spot in Steubenville of the Rockies retreat! So I'm going again this year! (It will be my 4th year!) I'm going with Katieri. I was worried because it was all sold out! Now I'm going with a church that I don't even know where it is...lol. But at least I get to go after all!

Let's see, I was at the retreat Friday-Sunday, went to my grandparents Sunday, worked Tuesday, and babysat Angela last night. Today I need to catch up on school! I am working on a drawing of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. I'm going to enter it in a homeschool art exhibit (if I can get it finished.

Has anyone gotten sick in the last month or so? Everyone is getting sick here :s Just off and on...some of us had the flu, and most of us have coughs and soar throats. blah :p

Later today I'm going to order my digital camera! I need to get it before May so I can take tons of pictures on my trip in VA ;)

Hello!

Let's see, I just got over the 24 hour stomach flu...Yesterday I felt like I was gonna die and today I'm fine, lol. I was suppose to go to work and it was an 8 hour shift, so there goes $56...oh well. I watched the St. Patrick's day parade and slept all day.
I've been planning my trip to VA with Eliza ;) We have A LOT planned. We're going to D.C. for a couple days, Williamsburg, Virginia beach, an amusement park, and tons of other stuff! I'm so excited! We are going to have a blast Eliza!

So I've been working and throwing up, that's about it. I am reading David Copperfield right now, very good book! Kind of sad :( I saw the movie a long time ago. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is in it and I think he was about 8 or 9 :)

I've been watching the old Rocky movies and I really want to see 'Rocky Balboa' the newer one that came out not to long ago, has anyone seen it?

Update on my puny little sister Renee...she is still sooooo tiny!!!!!! Sometimes I just want to squeeze her...She is talking a bunch and is the Queen of the Wise household.

Well that's all I can think of...I'm sure you all enjoy hearing about my life :p

Hello everyone,
I have been really busy with school! I am reading David Copperfield for British literature, The Winged Watchman for WWII history and Shakespeare as a side thing. I am enjoying "The Winged Watchman" the most. I am also doing a Geology unit on rocks, so I have been doing lots of research and papers on 'rocks' sounds boring but I like it :p

I bought Anberlin's new CD on the 20th and I absolutely LOVE it. I haven't stopped listening to it and I already know the words to the whole CD...It's really good, better then they're last two CD's. They're coming to Denver this month but I'm not going to be able to go :(

So anyways...my summer plans are in the air right now. I know I'm going to VA, I know I'm going to AZ but I don't know if I'm going to Steubenville of the Rockies this year because it's SOLD OUT! Already! And the event isn't until July. So I'm on the waiting list...I'm not going to Pure By Choice either. So this summer will be a new adventure for me :)

Is everyone having a blessed lent? I am so far. I gave up sweets and shopping. I'm going to a vocations retreat the on March 23-25 with a friend. It's pretty much a prayer retreat so it will be a nice thing for Lent.

I haven't gotten very many hours at work. I've only been working on Saturdays for 5-6 hours.
So it's given me time to catch up on school. I've been practicing the piano a lot and my mom just got me a new program called 'Piano for Life' so we'll see how that goes.

Shooting is going okay...I just had my first practice of the year Tuesday. So I'm a little off but I'll start hitting some bulls eyes soon (I hope :s lol)
We just got done with Mikey's birthday party, he had a pirate party! He turned 7. He had like 50 (more like 12) friends over and got lots of presents! We did games and a pinata. We had to do a lot to prepare and I had to do a lot of it because Renee got really sick and my mom had to take care of her. (That's all she wants to do is cling to her mom...) So I'm pretty tired (At least my feet are.) And I have to go to work in a couple hours! :s *sighs*
Has anyone else gotten sick? Something is going around...I hope I don't get it, Renee has a cough, runny nose and soar throat. Yuck!

I've had a lot of school work to do (Still need to catch up on a lot of it...) But I've been doing a study on Rocks, lol. It's more interesting then it sounds really! I've learned how they're formed which is really interesting.

Mauri, That's funny we went skiing on the same day :) Did you have fun?! I did! It was pretty scary at first, but then I got the hang of it and didn't want to leave! The chair lift was soooo scary at first but I got use to it after a while...it did make me feel nauseous. I didn't crash once :) My instructor called me a "rock star" because I was ahead of the class, but lol, I'm not bragging, the other people in my class were old people. It was a blast and I can't wait to do it again! Sarah, I think it is worth the fear of heights ;)

Well, I start shooting practice back up tomorrow! My friend Lauren is coming to see what it's like, she may join which will be nice.

Not much else to say! My brother reeeeaaaaly wants to get on the computer now so I think I'll go catch up on some school reading!

Glad everyone liked the pictures! It was really nice out today 50-60 degrees. So the snow has started melting but we probably will get more snow before spring comes! Actually they say this is only the beginning!

Tater decided to have some fun today and get in to the trash cans! Yuck...I had to pick it up. gross. He was pretty bored I guess. It's probably our fault for not going outside to play with him.

We are finally seeing some sun here! The snow is slowly melting. I fell as if I am a Narnian and the white witch is being defeated. But who knows, in Colorado it will get nice and sunny and the next day it will be dark and snowy. I have lost track of how many times it has snowed this winter.

Anyway...Not too much going on...I am making my plans to go visit Eliza in May :) She lives in VA. And I am also busy with school. Right now I am writing WWII newspaper articles which is not that easy...Its hard pretending to live in another time and write about it if you know what I mean.

I have to go to work today and that about it! Not much to tell!

Hello everyone!
Sorry it's been awhile since I last posted. A lot has been going on. How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was great! I got 'give' a lot of nice gifts this year :) I gave my mom a scrapbook kit, my dad and two older brothers DVD's and Damien a couple things to expand his mass kit.
I got a lot of mice things too. Clothes, CD's, books...
Thank you Eliza for the necklace! I love it!
I went to my grandparents on Christmas eve and my older brothers came over on Christmas day.

Lets see. Of course work has kept me busy...I started school back up yesterday, I had Katieri over the other day and went to see "Night at the Museum" Very funny movie! I highly recommend it! And I have been planning with a new friend of mine. Her name is Lauren and we're going to try to get a homeschool youth group started. She just moved here from Texas.
For New years eve we watched the Bronco's play for the last time :( Until next season of course. I'm sure everyone has heard but our cornerback Darrent Williams was shot that night. Pretty sad.

The snow has been CRAZY here!!!!!! We gotten so much snow! We keep having storm after storm. So far we've had 3 and there is a 4th one coming! Right now it's icy. And a couple nights ago we had a violent wind storm that left people stranded. We also had an Avalanche in the mountains.

4 days till' Christmas!
Hello everyone!

Okay so...first of all:
The city of Denver is in turmoil as we battle the snow. We had a HUGH blizzard. I don't know how much snow we got but we got a lot. It comes up to my knees but there are drifts everywhere that are much taller then me...My dad got stuck on the highway on the way home from work yesterday for almost 5 hours! He left at about noon and didn't get home until about 5. It was scary...it was just standstill traffic, cars just weren't moving. They had to get the national guard to rescue people. So...I got work off, and we've just been baking cookies, wrapping gifts (I still have to get out there and finish Christmas shopping! :s) The mountains behind us look really pretty! I was just telling my mom "I wish I had a digital camera!" So I could take pictures of the "aftermath" and post them on my blog! She told me to take my next paycheck and just buy one! (I think she is just as anxious as I am because she thinks she's gonna be using it for her blogging! psh...yeah right. J/K)

I had a wonderful birthday! Thank you everyone for the messages :) I had my grandparents and godparents over for dinner and listen to the old people talk all night. lol. I got some nice things from my family :) I got a book on WWII and a sweater from my mom and dad and coloring books, storage cases, and a chicken soup for the dog lover's soul book from my brothers, pajama's from Tony and Carol, a phone card from my godparents and I got my gift from my grandparents a while ago, lol, long story... Anyway I have yet more gifts to recive from friends! Just couldn't get them because of the SNOW!!!

Well I have yet some more exciting days ahead of me (Christmas and the Bronco game) So you will be hearing from me again!

Work and school, thats it....Everyone is getting sick.
details? Well I'm going to start WWII history, I loooove learning about WWII. I just got done learning about WWI. Umm...as for work my schedule has been full. I work almost everyday of the week for 4 to 6 hours. The Christmas season is pretty crazy. It gets busy.
I just got back from the nutcracker ballet tonight! My mom and I took Tina and Mikey. It was fun. It was very good! It was like the Colorado Ballet but still pretty nice! Carol was suppose to go with us but she got sick too. :(
My b-day is in 7 days! woohoo! I'll be 17. I probably won't do much. My grandparents will be here and that's it! I'm glad I don't have to work that day :p
Oh yeah! that scary wolf looking dog that killed my neighbors dog was taken away, now the neighborhood feels safer, lol.
hmm...I think I have all Christmas shopping done! yay!
Ahhh...I've abandoned Cookie, her cage needs cleaning! Bye bye!

Busy week...

Hello everyone!
Man...busy week! Work and school mostly. And last night I went to the parade of lights downtown with Tony, Carol, my brothers, my Aunt and uncle and cousins. It was fun, my friend Kaitlin was in it and we saw each other :)
My mom is doing much better, thanks for the prayers and comments :)
Just got done watching yet another intense bronco game. Of course we lost...ARGG!!!

Well how bout' a little update of my special little sister! Renee is growing up so fast. She helped me make cookies today :) She is such a smart little 2 year old. Some of the things she says....lol. Although she is very cute she also has a bossy attitude. She thinks she is the queen of everything.

I just got done reading a book called "Arms of Love" it's a story about a Catholic girl and how she practices chastity...It was very good!

Well I'm off to bed now...My nice warm bed, it is SOOOOOOOO COLD here!!!!! I am so cold I can't move...So I think I'll go take a hot shower, that sounds good!

today is the solemnity of Christ the King!
Hello everyone!
Wow...lots going on!
First of all if you could please keep my mom in your prayers. She just had a miscarriage. Yeah she was expecting. We didn't get a chance to tell anybody! It came really early. She is very tired and exhausted right now and my dad has been out of town :( Prayers are greatly appreciated.
How was every one's Thanksgiving? Mine was great! I had LOTS to eat! I went to my grandma's. We ate then sat around and watched the Bronco's game, they stunk! Jake Plummer was making me mad. The whole team wasn't playing that great. Mike wasn't doing to well either...We play the Seattle Seahawks next weekend, we'll see how that goes.

I had to work on black Friday, lol, but Jo-ann's wasn't that bad. I think it was the bigger places like JC penny's, Macy's, Best Buy, etc. that went crazy. On the way home from my grandma's we saw RVs in the parking lot!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!
Man the radio stations are already playing Christmas music! I prefer waiting like the week before Christmas to prepare and celebrate CHRISTMAS DAY and keep on celebrating for the next TWELVE DAYS of CHRISTmas....lol.

I'm glad I have today and the next two days off so I can stay home and help my mom out. My day gets home Tuesday! But then he's gonna have to go to work the next day anyway...it stinks.
Tony and Carol have been helping out. I'm so grateful they only live 8 blocks down!

Hmm....whats been happening? not too much, I just got back from work. Umm....Saturday I went to my aunts to help paint most of her house white. She is planning to sell it soon. Saturday night I went to Kaitlin's birthday party. That was fun, we went ice skating and had a sleepover. And Sunday I went to Tony's for the disappointing Broncos game. Man it was terrible. Plummer was not himself that night (well he's never his self, you can never tell weather his a good QB or a bad one) Mike B. did well though! So did Jevon Walker, he always tears the games up. I think he is the MVP, I'm not sure.

Anyways...oh, my mom and I also went to a high school craft fair. We got some nice Christmas gifts. Tomorrow We're going to some field trip and Thursday I'm going to my grandparent's for Thanksgiving. What is everybody doing for Thanksgiving?

Well I need to get to bed, sorry for once again another boring post about my life...I'm sure you all love hearing about it, lol!

Hows everyone doing??? I'm alright. I did school today and that's about it :s Tomorrow I have a babysitting job from 9 am to 2pm and then it's off to work from 4 to 9pm....I was suppose to work yesterday but Jo-Anne's was under budget and couldn't afford payroll so I had the day off, I would've like the money though because Christmas is coming up!!!!! The Budget is going to go up during the Thanksgiving sales though. Are you all ready for Christmas shopping? What are you all doing for Thanksgiving?

anyway...I sliced my finger making dinner today. First time I've cut myself in forever. (It wasn't that bad, lol.) my finger hurts though. lol.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well! Just got done watching the Bronco game. They won again, but it wasn't a great game. We almost lost against the sorriest team in the division...
Anyway...I might be going to a game next Sunday!
I worked yesterday...I got some really rude people >:( I didn't lose my temper though...lol. We also had a baby hurt himself in a cart. His foot got stuck, he was about 9 months. poor baby....He was okay, someone put lotion on his leg to make it slip out easier and it worked! ugh...I found out I have to work the day after Thanksgiving :( It stinks...

I have to tell everyone a kind of funny story. It wasn't funny at the time though. Okay, my friend Katieri has a bad habit of joking around too much and she told me she had cancer and made it seem so real...so I believed her which is one thing I will never do again...so she e-mailed me and told me she was to sad to talk so I didn't call her (at first I didn't believe her) So my mom came home and I asked her to call. So my mom calls asking if Katieri is okay, and her mom is like what? she was sooo mad at Katieri...hehe. I was mad at her too. I'm still mad...

Well, I g2g catch up on some school reading! I just got done reading Beowulf, has anyone ever had to read that for school? Very violent...lol

Hey everyone, sorry it's been awhile ( I always say that, huh?) Not to much going on really. We went on a field trip today at the Chamberlain observatory. Today mercury was aliened with the sun. So through the biggest telescope I've ever seen, I got to see it! It was a small black speck moving through the middle of the sun....It was awesome. I'm not much for astronomy but it was fun :) It is fascinating!
our elections didn't turn out to well....We got all the pro-abortion people including our governor. We are ruled by Democrats now...
And now I'm off to youth group!
I work Friday and Saturday, maybe something exciting will happen so I can write again, lol.

Today is the day of the dead
Hello!
Today we went out to the Mount Olivet cemetery for all souls day. We visited my great grandparents graves, and our friend Rebecca's grave. It was sort of a field trip. We brought 'pan de muertos' it means bread of the dead. It's a Mexican tradition to make those and sugar skulls (we just made bread shaped into skulls, sounds weird but they turned out great) We did grave rubbings also. I really like visiting the cemetery. It's sad to see the children's cemetery though :(

I had fun at Casa Bonita's. Mike Bell is really funny...

Today is all saints day
Hi! Sorry it's been a while....
Haw was every one's Halloween? Mine was boring...lol. Took the little kids trick-or-treating with Tony and Nick. They got so much candy they HAD to split it with us...omg, I've never seen so much candy! Damien was a pirate, Mikey was spider-man and Tina was a cheerleader.
Renee is doing much better from her surgery...She's still really sore. Not much else's going on...just work and school. I'm going to casa bonita (Mexican restaurant, there's a waterfall with divers, a Mexican band...uh forgot what they're called band and other cool attractions) tonight with my Tony, Carol and Mike Bell. I'm going to take my bronco hoodie and have him sign it :) The Colts game on Sunday was CRAZY. we lost but we still played good. Mike made two touchdowns!

Not much else! Hopefully next time I'll have something more interesting to write about...lol

I woke up this morning and we got about 6 inches of snow! Yesterday it was warm enough to wear a t-shirt...the weather changes really fast here.
Lets see, not to much going on. I won tickets to a concert on the radio but I can't go because it's 45 minutes away on a Halloween night so no one wants to go with me...It was Jeremy Camp and Hawk Nelson (Hawk Nelson is my favorite band in the whole world) So I'm pretty bummed, considering I'm not doing anything on Halloween night.
Renee is having her hernia surgery tomorrow morning so keep her in your prayers, I'll let everyone know how she does.

And I have to work this weekend! woo hoo....That's really about it, lol. Just sittin' around doing school, nothing to exciting.

Busy weekend

Hello everyone!
life has been a little crazy...work and school. I had a busy weekend. I went to Homecoming with Katieri (pics below) That was fun. We got the courage to dance, lol. I stayed the night and Sunday I went to my aunts house for a girls birthday for my mom, my aunt Sue and me. I got some cute things :) Some purses, a watercolor set, a book about Monet, some things for my room (candle, pillowcases) $25 to Target, fuzzy socks, a shower set, scarf and gloves, and a few other things. My birthday is December 19th, we just celebrated it really early thins year, lol, I'll still celebrate it with my family in December.
After that I came home, watched the Bronco game. Of course they won 13 to 3 against the Oakland Raiders. woo hoo!

I have a lot of school to catch up on so I better get my day started :s

Oh, yesterday was the most interesting day...Mikey some how fell through our glass table , yeah. His foot has some nice cuts in the bottom but he was very fortunate! I have no idea what he was doing. I had the lovely job of cleaning the glass up...sighs.
Damien hurt his shoulder on the trampoline, Nick stepped on my foot and bent my toenail back so now my toe is all blue, Nathan trip and banged his elbow on the wall. I'm sure something happened to Renee. Yesterday was the day for hurting yourself, did any of you hurt yourself on Monday? lol.

Sorry it's been so long! I have been terribly busy! Work takes up a lot of time, plus fitting school in which I should be doing right now.

I just got back from youth group and I must share something I never thought of before....
We were reading the book of Genesis and tonight we came to chapter 22 when Abraham is told to sacrifice Isaac by God. So Abraham and Isaac are walk up the mountain of Moirah Isaac is carrying the wood and asks Abraham his father "Where is the Lamb for the sacrifice?" Abraham tells Isaac "God will provide" (hopefully you know the rest of the story, God was testing Abraham so yeah...he really didn't have to kill his son because an Angel stopped him)
Okay I never realized this but Abraham said "God will provide" And he did! The lamb of God! God's son Jesus. And the cool part is, Jesus carried his own wood! The cross. And he carried it up the mountain of Golgotha which is in the same mountain range (Moriah) that Isaac carried his wood.
Cool huh? There is so much behind the stories in the bible, its really neat.

Anyway! Work is going okay, I didn't like it at first, I was really nervous and scared but every day gets a little easier. But being a cashier really isn't easy. *sigh* Its work....
Let's see, Saturday I'm going to Machebeuf's homecoming with Katieri (we are the dateless wonders) and staying the night. And Sunday I'm going to my aunt's for a girl's birthday party for my mom, my aunt Sue and myself (we share birthday parties even though Sue's and my birthday's are in December.) Oh! last week Mike Bell came over our house for dinner (he is the running back of the Denver Bronco's) He is a friend of ours (except I don't remember him, lol) So it was cool to meet him...
Yeah the Bronco's beat Baltimore Monday night 13 to 3...good game!

That's about it! School tomorrow, I need to get up a 7:30 and it's 10:00 pm so I better get some shut-eye, especially since I was up late last night with this stinking' cough I have.

Well as you probably already know, I got a part-time job at Jo-Ann's fabric store! I'm very excited! It only takes me 5 minutes to walk there.
More news, We got a dog today! His name is Tater and his a Blue Heeler cattle dog mix. We like him a lot and he likes us a lot :) Here is a picture of him:

He loves it outdoors, and loves the yard. He is still a young puppy so we have some training to do....
And what else...oh! Today is Renee's 2nd Birthday! We had a birthday party for her last night. She got TONS of clothes and baby dolls...lol. She loves all her new stuff :) She is still getting use to the big doggy taking her place as the baby of the family :p J/K she's still our little spoiled princess and always will be!
I drew a picture of her for her birthday, I'm really proud of it, it's the first time I've actually drawn a face that looks like the person! lol. Here it is:

Hi! Hope everyone is doing well!!!!
yeah! go Broncos, we won 17 to 7 against the New England.

I will not bore you with Bronco talk....because today was a busy exciting day. I stayed the night at Katieri's and we watched Spider-man and A Walk to Remember. Then when I was picked up we went to a shelter to look at dogs and we all fell in love with this Blue heeler mix and they let us take him on a walk and everything! so when we get back and asked to adopt him they had already had an application. So we didn't get our dog yet... :( We were bummed. So we'll just keep looking.
Oh! I have my 1st job interview tomorrow! yay! It's with Jo-Ann's fabric store. So wish me luck!

Today we went on a field trip to a Dinosaur museum in Morrison. It was a neat place. I made lasagna for dinner tonight and later I'm going to youth group. That's what I did today, other then that not to much going on. We're staring school next week which I am ready for. Sorry its been a while. I've been a little busy. My mom, Nick and Renee left for AZ on Wendsay and are coming home on Sunday. I've been watching the boys all day every day while my dad is at work. They are starting to annoy me now. lol. They're going to Tony's later so I will be happy! haha, I'm a mean sister. We've just been sitting around the house watching movies...I watched a movie the other night called "widow's peak" it was an old Irish movie. I liked it :)

Lots going on....yesterday we ordered like 4 tons of pea gravel for our yard in the trampoline area. So I was shoveling rocks into wheel barrows allll day...My back is aching so bad, lol. Last night I talked to Eirin on the phone for like 2 hours, it was fun, lol. I Was up until 12:30 ;)
And this morning I weeded the whole garden and now I'm leaving for the library and later I'm babysitting. *sigh*

This morning I woke up from a long night of twisting and turning because I was sooo hot and I can't sleep when it's hot out. I can for sure sleep when its cold out though! Its funny during the school year I could sleep allll day and during the summer I wake up at like 8am it's sad.
So anyway....I woke up and there were birds outside on our feeder everywhere! They are so funny! We fill our bird feeder every day...it's so funny. We usually only get sparrows and blackbirds. sometimes I see a black bird with yellow underneath.

Okay this is very random, but you know what I think? I think that Kiera Knighty and Audrey Hepburn are somehow related. I swear they look the same...it scary. who agrees?

Hello everyone!
Not to much going on. Chinonye and I had lots of fun :) We went to see that movie 'Invincible' it was sooo good! I loved it. It was a football movie about the Philly Eagles. I've always liked sport movies for some reason, especially football ones. I like Rudy the best. I want to see that basketball one 'Glory Road' my mom saw it and said it was good.
After the movie we went to Cosmic Bowling for 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. That was fun, lol. Before that I had never gone bowling before :s I loved it so I went again on Sunday with Kaitlin.
So that's about it! I start school soon. When my mom gets back from AZ, she and Nick are going to visit my grandma for a few days.

sorry it's been awhile. I have been really busy with just trying to get things done. I'm the editor of our homeschool newsletter and I had to type up this huge directory and that's taken a lot of my time :s
Other then getting things done around the house, nothing else has happened. I'm going to Chinonye's house tomorrow to spend the night. And that's about it. I've also been lost in my Jane Austen books, lol. I admit. But reading is better then sitting on the computer right? lol.
I volunteered today...none of the dogs wanted to play. It was weird. Of course I only got to play with 4 dogs. They were all just the quiet type I guess.

How's everyone? I'm getting over my cold. Yesterday I went to my neighbors Tenneal's 6th birthday party, lol. It was at a place called "Pump it" It's basically a big inflatable kingdom of bounciness. hehe. I ate too much cake and ice cream :( blah...lol.
And we also had a friend from New York stay with us last night, her name is Libby and she was here at the Aspen Music school for the summer and needed a place to stay Sunday night. She is 16 and she was really nice, omg, she reminds me sooo much of my friend Kayleigh it's not even funny. I had actually never met her until yesterday. She plays the violin and omg she is sooo good. She also plays the cello. We rented Pride and Prejudice for her, that was my 3rd time seeing it but that's okay because I looove that movie!
So we just got back from dropping her off at the airport.

Everyone is gone! Friends left for college, all my little middle school buddies are off to high school, makes me sad...

Hey everyone!
man...I have had a busy weekend! Damien and I went to our State shooting competition. We went Friday night and camped. It was all dirt and it rained allll night looooong....*sigh* You know what that means? Lots and Lots of mud. I was covered in mud. But I still shot. I don't know what I placed yet though, probably not very high.
I don't start school for a while but I fell like starting now. I know it sounds sad, but everyone has to admit they like to start school. Its funny how you can't wait for school to start and then you can't wait for it to end, lol. That's sad coming from a homeschooler. lol.
Anyway...I have to go take a shower now, lol, I'm still muddy.

Well mom turned 46 today. shh....don't tell. lol. I made brunch and we gave her our b-day gifts. I got her flavored coffee and some biscotti biscuits. My dad gave her a $25 gift card to Jo-Anne's, Nick and Damien gave her a candle that looks like a real apple, Mikey gave her scissors and scrap booking stickers and Tony and Carol gave her a really pretty outfit!
I wonder if my mom ever reads my blog...mom if your reading this post a comment, lol.
I think its pretty much Eliza, Mauri and Sarah that read my blog. Sometimes Emily and Jessica...any one else that I'm missing? If I am post a comment ;) hehe.

Mauri, shooting is going good :) thanks, I've been keeping consistent high scores (around 230) The state shoot-off is coming up on the 19th! I'll let you know how that goes. Hey Mauri, I know you like to shoot, do you do any 4-h shooting sports?

Summer has been soooo busy! All of my retreats and camps are over but everything else, lol. I went shopping and out for lunch with Kaitlin and her mom, the dog shelter, and b-day shopping for my mom yesterday. Today we went to my grandma's but on the way we had to stop at the doctors so Damien could get his ingrown toe-nail fixed...anyone ever had an ingrown toenail? They look like they hurt...the doctor cut like half of his nail out, gross! And I think I'm actually NOT doing anything tomorrow :) Maybe I'll get a chance to read a full chapter of Pride and Prejudice, it's taking me so long to get through the first few chapters. It's a really good book so far though. I think Sunday I'm going over Katieri's and we're going to some water park in Littleton (Pirates Cove, never been there)
I babysat tonight while parents went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2, surprisingly my mom liked it, not sure about my dad. :)

Hi everyone!
Not much going on today. I was in a terrible mood this morning because my CD player broke. I've never had great luck with CD players....my brother is going to try and fix it.
Saturday we went to my aunts house to help her out (she just had knee surgery) and then we went to my cousin's Niki's birthday party (I think she turned 6, lol) And Sunday was a busy day, we went to mass, then the Adams county fairgrounds to pick up our projects and look around at the other projects. Then after that we went to Holy Trinity's church festival. Our two priests were serving Mexican food and they called the restaurant 'Los Dos Padres' :) It was good food! My mom and I ate there and my brothers had boring hamburgers...But anyways I won a bottle of soda at the ring toss! lol. That was fun.

Today is Tony and Carol's 2nd wedding anniversary. I'm going to babysit Tina tonight so they can go do something together :)

Hi everyone!
I'm back :) I had a blast! I am VERY tired though... We did SO much.

First day was ice breaker stuff :)
second day we did sports and activities and "beauty day" we all got make-up and our hair done. third day we went on a 7 mile hike and carnival night.
fourth day we went paddle boating
fifth day we went on another hike (only 4 miles) that was cartoon night (I was roo from Winnie the pooh)
sixth day was horse back riding :) my favorite part and game night
seventh day! Awards and come home!

We did so much more! It was kind of hard being the oldest camper (I was older then all the counselors also, haha) there especially since all my friends from last year were all team leaders and bossed me around! But my room mate Bethany was 16 and we made friends with each other in an instant :) I loved her, she was so funny, we had so much fun together. Because we were the oldest we were put in charge of some things like planning the Counselor appreciation day and putting together adoration lists, and thank you cards, and much more! We got to dress up like Zorro! We painted black masks on our faces with BLACK MARKER! We scrubbed our faces for HOURS! but it was worth it, the girls loved it. We surprised everyone, the reason we dressed up like Zorro is because every night "Zorro" (one of the counselors) would collect the things laying around and if a camper wanted her stuff back she had to do something stupid. So Bethany and I dressed up like Zorro, stole stuff from the counselors rooms and made them do crazy stuff in front of everyone! lol, it was awesome.

Hi!
LOTS going on! I found out Thursday night that I was chosen to receive a full ($400) scholarship to go to camp! You might remember how sad and disappointed I was that I couldn't go this year (I have been going to this camp for 6 years) So I'm leaving today at 2pm. I had Friday and Saturday to get ready and tell everyone that I was leaving. I'll be gone for 7 days (until the 4th)
Boy will I miss Renee, I hope she doesn't think I left her for good, lol. (We're never apart)

I watched "Eight Below" last night, not the greatest sled-dog movie (I think "Iron Will" has to be the best) But it was enjoyable.

Eliza, Have you seen X-men 3 yet? You're letter is in the mail! ;) Sorry it's kinda boring, we talk on the computer too much.

Muari, lol, My youth group had to think about the stone table for a minute I was like "HELLO!"

Hey guys!
Well my County shoot-off was Tuesday night. I placed 4th out of 6 so I didn't do to bad. I made the state team so I'm going to state, I highly doubt our team will make it to nationals, lol. Our highest score was 250, I shot a 224. The high overall score is 400, lol. State is Aug 19th and I think we're going to camp up there, it's in Rama, CO 30-40 minutes outside of Limon so it's a good 2 hour drive from here and we have to be there to sign-up at 7:00 am :s

Last night I went to youth group and Kevin our youth leader had us watch Narnia and we tried to find all the symbolism from the bible that we could, boy is there A LOT! Every single part of the movie had something! I noticed the stone table breaking in two just like the curtain breaking in two and Lucy and Susan were just like the woman who went to the tomb and when they saw Azlan was gone they said "They've taken him" Just like the woman at the tomb. That wasn't the only thing I noticed...I could go on. Another thing is how Edmund takes the Turkish delight just like Judas took the 30 pieces of silver.
I also watched X-men 2 last night, they're not the best movies, but I liked them so I can't wait to see the 3rd one.

Today I went to the dentist, no cavities! yay! And then I went to the shelter and played with the cutest Labrador :) And tonight, I'm watching Damien's soccer game, I enjoy watching him play.
SO....I'll be going now, g2g finish my shooting project!

Busy weekend!

Hi! Whew! I've had a BUSY weekend! Steubenville of the Rockies was so much fun! I loved it. I went with Kaitlin and she loved it too. We stayed in a suite...he he, but we weren't allowed to turn the t.v. on...that's okay though we weren't in our hotels much anyway. But there were some 2,100 people at the retreat and the music and speakers were great, one I particularly liked was Molly Kelly, she is a chastity speaker, basically the funniest old lady (I'd say about 57-60 years old.) I have ever seen. And Sean Forrest! He was funny! He was our entertainment. I had the opportunity to go to Adoration and confession. In confession we were given bricks and we had to carry these bricks until our confession was done! And when we were done we put the bricks at the foot of a cross, I thought it was neat. We waited in line for about 40 minutes. There were about 1,200 confessions in two days! (There were about 30 maybe more priests) It was awesome. Then on Sunday my mom picked me up and we went to my grandparents 50th wedding celebration. That was pretty fun! My grandparents loved the memory album we made for them. The food was yummy :) We went to Senior Ric's (Mexican) So I have been busy and tired...every night we went to bed at the retreat at about 1 am and got up at 6 am! Terrible...our chaprone kept us up all night telling funny stories and making us laugh our heads off! She is one funny chick! But I am home now and it feels weird being home away from my friends and 2,100 other teens, loud music and everything else...lol

I bought a CD today called the Classic Crime and I got a free Underoath T-shirt! yay! lol.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for all the posts ;) Eliza my darling, I will mail your letter out ASAP! lol. I promise. Sorry I am so slow. Well I'm finished with my essay class that I took over the summer. It went well, I'm waiting for my grade. I learned A LOT about essay writing! I'd show you guys my essay but I highly doubt you would want to sit and read it, so I will spare you you're time ;) Not much going on now, our VCR is broken so I can't watch any VHS for a while. Just DVDs, I had a Jane Austen movie to watch though :( It was Emma. all I've pretty much been doing is babysitting. I'm saving the money for Steubenville of the Rockies! Can't wait, I'll be leaving Friday afternoon. It ends Sunday afternoon but after that I am going strait to my grandparents 50th anniversary dinner. So that's about it. Here is a picture of my grandparents on their wedding, wasn't my grandma's dress BEAUTIFUL! I would so wear it if she still had it, she said she dyed it black!!! To use as a party dress! MAN!

Hey!
Sorry I haven't kept up. No one can really keep a blog up anyway...If I posted everyday you would get reeeaaaly bored! So anyways...What's happened? Well Slingblade a.k.a. Katieri came over the other day, spent the night and went to Water World with me the next day. My parish (Holy Trinity) went, it was for the alter servers. So Damien came along (he is an alter server) We had fun. But I hate it when you spend almost all day there and only go on 7 rides, it was really crowded. Of course we did spend a lot of time in the wave pool! I love the wave pool :)
And yesterday I went to see POTC 2 again with Kaitlin, then I babysat Tina last night, today we're going to a party/picnic thingy at a friends and then I'm going to babysit Angela.
So I've been keeping a little busy.
I'm suppose to be babysitting Renee now so I better go :) I'll write more later if I can! Okay!

Hi!
Well I got the stomach flu :( I'm over it now, it was only the 24 hour flu. Everyone had it except my mom (Amazing huh?) It was terrible. I think I had it the worst. I threw up 7 times in about 3 hours. I hadn't been that sick in a really loooong time. The night I was sick I got about 2 hours of sleep. But I'm better, I went to Katieri's and spent the night. We went to see Pirates 2!!!! I LOVED it! It was SO funny and Johnny Depp did a really good job!!!I can't wait to see it again and I can't wait for the 3rd one. You have to wait for the 3rd one to see what happens next! :s 10 months 16 days. haha. Katieri and I have gone pirate crazy.

it's been raining here for since yesterday. I don't think we've ever gotten this much rain in July. I like it though, we reeeaaaly needed it.
I won't be going to the dew tour this year :( my brothers and I decided not to, we really need to save our money. We're going to Pirates on Friday though. I'm going to Water World with Katieri Wensday, I have a lot of babysitting jobs this weekend then the 21-23 I'll be at Steubenville of the Rockies. So I have a busy July ahead of me...

Happy 4th even though it is the 5th, lol. Ours was fun but we didn't get to see fireworks because it rained all day :( We were at my grandma's. It was disappointing, we usually go with all my aunts and uncle at the park near my grandmas but not this year...
And today everyone has the stomach flu and I think I'm getting it...And I really don't want to. I had plans this week. I am suppose to go see POTC 2 with Katieri. My mom thinks its the 24 hour flu because Renee got it yesterday and is fine today. So hopefully I'll get better tomorrow.

So that's all that's been going on really...I have really been playing the piano and passed the beginners book...lol. And now I think I better go...(throw up if you wanted to know)

Well the boys got home today. They are all in bad moods and need to take a nap! geez! Mom and I had fun. We watched Pride and Prejudice, the newer one with Kiera Knightly and I LOVED it!!! It a must own movie. (for me at least) I'd like to see the older one too. We also watched Father of the Bride II which was hilarious! I love Franc in that movie aka Martin Short. This morning we went out to breakfast with my grandma at Village Inn. And that's about it, we enjoyed the peace and quiet mostly :) Nathan didn't go because he had to work so he was here.

I can't believe the 4th will be here before we know it :s I can't wait until July 21st, that's when I go to my Steubenville of the Rockies retreat with Kaitlin.

My grandma lent me a CD today called Celtic Women, its a group of 5 Irish woman. One of them plays the fiddle and one of them plays the harp. And they are vocalists and have the prettiest voices.

So now I have to go help with dinner!

Thatnks for the comments ;) Well I got one of my thesis statements in on my on-line essay class and I had no mistakes! I'm happy :)
Anyway...the boys are leaving for thier camping trip tomarrow so it will be quiet until Saturday afternoon! Mom, Renee and I are going to do some fun stuff :) We'll probably go out to eat and visit my grandma, then we're going to sort through our pictures and try to get some photo albums together! Oh and we're going to get Pride and Prejudice (the new one)

I went driving again with Carol today, she said I don't drive like a grandma anymore :) I gotten up to 40 mph and I'm not scared to go fast anymore. I also am doing better on my turns.

Computer troubles...

Hey!
Wow...I have been so busy. I haven't been on in a while because our computer died and we had to get a new one. So I've been without a computer for a long time. So I have an excuse this time! :)
But we went to the weeding in Winter Park and that was a lot of fun. We went swimming at our hotel like 2 times a day. lol. My Grandma brought lots of candy for us...she is a cool grandma.
And it was nice to see all my great aunts and uncles from out of town.
We got a piano yesterday! It's pretty nice. We have to get it tuned and my dad will probably sand and re-stain the parts that need it.
I also got a parakeet! Her name is Cookie and she is really pretty! She is a very bright blue! She is still really scared of being in a new home (I got her from a friend) But I'm enjoying her and I love it when she sings.
I babysat all the kids tonight for my parents who's anniversary 26th is on the 28th of June.
Last night I went ice skating. So that's about it!
I'm really tired tonight so I want to try and write tomorrow and fill in the details about the trip and stuff! Till' later!

Hey everyone!
Man have I been busy, like non-stop. I really haven't been on the computer since the last post. Oh Eliza, do you mean my posted pictures on my blog? I Google them....
Well, I had that teen track at my mom's conference. That was awesome. I met an Olympian skier Rebbecca Dussault, she spoke. I also won the St. Terese DVD and I book about dating :p
That was really fun. And after that I have just been busy with errands n' stuff. I am also doing an on-line essay class this summer and that has really taken up a lot of time. It's not easy, lol.
Last night I went to my mom's book club and we watched Prize Winner of Defience Ohio, really good book and movie!
Today we had this big airsoft fight with older kids for once, which wasn't all that much fun because someone had a C0-2 gun which reeeaaaly hurts :( ow...I still have welts. Shooting practice was after that so I've done alot of shooting today. And then Carol and I went out driving. I've gotten 4 hours so far. I'm not doing to bad on my driving...
*yawns* its getting late now. I'll try to post again. I'd like to post some info on Bl. Pier Giargo Frassati...he is so cool...I learned about him at the teen track. So I'll try to do that, we are leaving Friday for 3 days. We're going to Fraiser, CO for a wedding.

Hey everyone! sorry for taking so long. I haven't gotten a chance to get on the computer for a while. I had a lot of babysitting jobs in Thursday and Friday. And helping my mom get ready for a conference. She is helping with door prizes so I made a lot of signs this morning. She is at the conference all day today and I'm going to the teen track tomorrow. I also did my volunteering at the shelter on Thursday, same old routine, played with a bunch of dogs ;) I befriended a very melo shy dog that doesn't want to play and watches all the other dogs who act like they drink to much coffee. He's my favorite dog, a black Labrador, (he will play catch with me and lick my face...) Tonight I have to make dinner (pizza, lol) We were at Tony's not to long ago and we watched "hoodwinked" It was pretty funny, I liked it. So that's about it, just been really busy...I have to go make the pizza's now :s Thanks for the comments ;) ~Kayla

Hi everyone! I've been busy this weekend. Thursday I volunteered at the animal clinic, lol, there was a Hugh German Shepherd that REALLY wanted to play and he jumped on me (obviously not knowing he is really big) And scratched me arms up pretty bad. I started bleeding. And another (Very cute) dog was playing catch with me with a tennis ball and when he brought it back to me he accidentally bit me, and that hurt...So even when you're playing with nice dogs you can get hurt, lol. Also Damien had friends over for an air-soft fight for his birthday, I didn't play this time though because they were all little kids and that's no fun...
And Friday night Nick and I went to his Middle school youth group for Jello Olympics, lol. We had a Jello eating contest, a jello toss, a jello war and last but not least a jello slip and slide. I don't know how much jello there was but I know they spent $50 on boxes of jello. I don't think I'll ever eat orange jello again! :)
Tonight I am going to Lauren and Kaitlin's ballet dance. So I actually need to go get dressed, lol. I did a lot of weeding out in the garden today so I have been wearing sweats all day. Thanks for the comments guys ;)

My Memorial day was fun, really busy, we went to my aunts first, my aunts and uncle are planning my Grandma and Grandpa's 50th anniversary. Yeah their 50th is on I think July 24th. That will be a fun celebration, we all love my grandparents so much, they do a lot for everyone.
And then we went to my grandparents for a BBQ. Too much FOOD!
As far as vacations and retreats this summer, all we're doing is going up to Winter Park, CO for my mom's cousin's wedding. And after we come home we're getting a dog!!!!!! I can not wait!
And Steubenville is July 21-23.

When I was at my grandma's today I was watching the first X-men (I've never seen them) I didn't get to finish it so I am going to get it asap, it was awesome (from what I watched) I mean all the mutant people are just so cool! lol.
Okay, I think I'll go make use of my time and practice the recorder. (that's what I'm learning to read music, it's working pretty good so far!)

Happy Memorial Day!

Hey!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I am, yesterday I had to go buy new clothes because I stained all my other clothes with chocolate syrup...
And my mom and I went to a coffee shop to go over my high school transcript for 9th and 10th grade. I really need to work myself for 11th grade because I need to get more credits.
I think I know what I want to do in college, lol (maybe) I think I will look into zoology! I don't think it will ever happen but how I would love to work with Gorillas like Jane Goodall.

I hope everyone has a great Memorial day! I am going to my grandma's (the usual) Damien will be 10 on the 30th so we are celebrating my cousin Tommy's 10th birthday (the 25th, Damien and Tommy are 5 days apart) and his birthday that day.
So now I think I'll try to start on the curtains for my room :s

Hey everyone! I've had a busy day, the usual school. And we went grocery shopping. So did anyone 'other-cott' the 'Da Vinci code'? We wanted to go see 'Over the Hedge' but we can't afford tickets for our whole family, lol. I heard the movie was really bad and poorly made. The newspaper gave it a bad review too. *sigh* what's next? I had a Butterfinger day today, I ruined to shirts. First I spilled chocolate milk on my only white shirt, so I tried to bleach that, it turned purple...then I got more chocolate syrup on one of my pink shirts (which isn't my most favorite shirt) Then I spilled my mom's wine on my pants, luckily that didn't stain. Aren't I amusing...geez. My week really hasn't been that interesting so the blog is boring and short like usual. But could I ask everyone to pray for a friend of mine who is had back surgery? Busy weekend

Today is the Feast day of St. Rita

Sorry it's been awhile, I've been really busy and haven't been on the computer in a few days. This past weekend was yet another crazy one! Friday we went to a May crowning at a retirement home with some other homeschoolers and after that I went to Katieri's house for a while. We watched "yours, mine and ours" Which wasn't a bad movie, but not the best.
Saturday I went to Kaitlin's Jazz dance which was a lot of fun, I found out there more people in it that I knew, Teresa and Melissa were in a hip hop dance, Lauren and Eva were in a Jazz dance and a girl I babysit, Angela, was in it also. And I saw a friend there (Cassie) that I haven't seen in like 3 years! it's was awesome...
And Sunday my grandma came in from AZ and we had (almost) everyone over for a BBQ, that was fun.
Today I started a Music Theory internet class, so I'm finally learning how to read music! Yay! And the class I believe teaches chords later on, so by the time we get a piano and start lessons, I'll at least know that much.
Oh, the highlight of my week. last Wednesday I was at the mall buying some new shoes and my very forgetful, careless self set my purse down and forgot about it and walked out the mall! So I get on my bike, realized it was gone, started freaking out and ran it to the mall like a crazy person. I looked for it, and found a security guard, gave him my number and went home crying like a mad woman because I thought my phone, ID, and money were gone forever. Then as soon as I got home (by the way I prayed to St. Anthony all the home, I'm telling' you he rocks) the mall called me! The found my purse, luckily the phone and ID were still in there but someone stole my $15.
so yeah, interesting huh? lol :)

Mother's day
What an AMAZING week this has been!
Friday was the Nick and Damien's Conformation. I was Nick's sponsor. It was a nice mass, although the Archbishop could not be present because he was having a prayer meeting with all the seminarians. It was crowded and a little loud (not enough respect for Jesus who is present in the tabernacle) Damien's Saint was St. Joseph and Nick's was St. Maximilian Kolbe. I made Nick a black rosary with blue Our fathers. Then on Saturday I went to my little cousin's (Santiago) 1st Communion, that was WAY loud but still nice, Santi got to read a prayer intention, he was so cute :) And I went to visit Katieri after that for awhile. And Sunday (today) was awesome, saturday 11 priests were ordained and on Sunday we went to the 1st mass of one of them. He is a family friend, Fr. Matt Hartly, I don't know him as well as the rest of my family because I was gone when they had him over. But it was really cool, I'd like to go to more of those...who knows maybe I'll get to go to Damien's 1st mass. I sure would like him to be a priest :) He got to serve Fr. Matt's mass. I have had to much cake and punch from all the receptions!
Then we went to my grandma's to say happy mother's day. I gave my mom an bath tub pillow :) She takes a lot of baths. So it has been a VERY busy weekend and on top of that I'm trying to finish painting my walls...which is craziness...But its turning out great, its a nice green color. Can't wait until it's done. That's why I haven't posted in awhile. Also, I'm not going to camp this year :( first time in 6 years I'm going to miss it. I can't go because it's to expensive this year. I was really bummed about that, I ended up not doing a lot of this I wanted this year like the fashion show and prom. I am going to Steubenville of the Rockies though! That will be nice, I always look forward to that. Well better go! ~Kayla

Today was busy, I did school of course and volunteered again at the shelter. I must have played with 20 or so dogs, lol, so I'm really tired. Oh my gosh, I played with the cutest dog! I LOVE the Welsh corgi! They are so cute! For those who don't know what they look like:
